Caleb is an actor and theater educator with a B.A. in Theater from SUNY Plattsburgh. He brings a wealth of experience to his work, particularly in youth-focused theater education. Prior to joining Royal River, Caleb worked extensively with the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine. His roles included performer, stage manager, technical theater intern, and after-school program educator. Through these experiences, Caleb has had the privilege of collaborating with young artists, fostering an environment where creativity, confidence, and teamwork can thrive.
Caleb has also directed youth productions such as *Annie Jr.* at Stages and the TYA edition of *Tuck Everlasting* at Gorham Middle School. His dedication to his students shines through in the supportive and encouraging relationships he builds, creating spaces where young artists feel empowered to explore their creativity and grow as individuals.
As a performer, Caleb has appeared in a variety of productions. Recent roles include Larry in The SpongeBob Musical at Lyric Music Theater, Gus in White at Mad Horse Theatre Company, and Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web at Maddy’s Theatre.
He is thrilled to join our growing community and looks forward to helping nurture the next generation of young performers through meaningful and enriching theater experiences.
Nicole is a theater artist at heart and a nonprofit leader by calling, devoted to creating spaces where people feel connected, inspired, and seen. Nicole earned her BFA in Theatre and her MBA with concentrations in Arts Administration and Nonprofit Management on the West Coast, where she spent more than a decade performing in professional theater. She fell in love with the craft from the very beginning. Stage combat. Swordplay. Shakespeare. The thrill of stepping into a role and discovering its heartbeat. Her most cherished performances include Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Laura in The Glass Menagerie, and the title role in Phèdre. As a director, she found that same spark in productions such as Howard Zinn’s Emma and Tennessee Williams’ Stairs to the Roof, productions that remain among her most memorable artistic experiences.
Over time, Nicole discovered that the heart of theater lived not only on the stage but in the mission that brings people together, in the community that forms around the creative process, and in the work that happens before the lights come up. That understanding shaped her path into nonprofit leadership, where she blends artistic creativity with strategic vision and a commitment to community impact. Since moving to Maine, she has brought that passion to youth centered nonprofits, helping young people access the arts and discover their own creative voices.
Nicole joins Royal River Community Players with genuine excitement. Their commitment to multigenerational storytelling and their groundbreaking work through the Accessible Stages Collaborative reflect the kind of theater she believes in, a theater rooted in community, creativity, and the belief that everyone deserves a place in the story.
