GENERATIONS IN VERSE (SPOKEN WORD)

Ready to grow your creativity and confidence? Join our intergenerational spoken word poetry group, facilitated by acclaimed poet and actor Maya Williams. Learn to write, refine, and perform impactful poetry while connecting with others. Participants will work on individual pieces and contribute to a collective performance. The program ends with a live performance on October 27th at the Playhouse, where you’ll showcase your growth. Open to anyone 10 and older, this program encourages storytelling, self-expression, and building confidence. Whether you're experienced or a beginner, you’ll leave feeling inspired and proud of your work.

TECHNIQUE AND SCENE STUDY - TERM A

Adult Ensemble is designed for students who have a foundational understanding of theater and wish to further develop their skills. This course offers a comprehensive exploration of performance techniques, character development, and script analysis. Students will engage in various exercises and activities that enhance their abilities in voice, movement, and improvisation. Through scene study and collaborative projects, participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and creativity in a supportive environment. This class encourages students to challenge themselves, refine their craft, and gain confidence in their artistic expression.

ACT ONE MUSICAL THEATER ENSEMBLE

Is your child bursting with energy and a love for singing and dancing? Act One Musical Theater Ensemble is a fun and engaging 10-week program designed specifically for children aged 6-10. Through games and activities, your young performer will learn acting, singing, and dancing in a supportive and nurturing environment. No prior experience needed—just a love for performing. Help them take their first steps into the world of musical theater today!

ACT TWO MUSICAL THEATER ENSEMBLE

Step confidently into the spotlight with our Act Two Musical Theater Ensemble! This 10-week program is crafted to nurture creativity, self-expression, and confidence in young actors aged 10-14. Participants gain valuable skills like acting, singing, and dancing while experiencing the joy of performing. Every session brings an opportunity to explore scenes and songs from beloved Broadway hits, helping students develop a love for collaboration and teamwork. Whether enhancing prior experience or serving as an introduction to the art of musical theater, this class offers the perfect platform to grow as both performers and individuals.

HOMESCHOOL THEATER ACADEMY

Homeschool Theater Academy is the perfect place for homeschoolers excited to dive into the performing arts! Our program offers a dynamic curriculum featuring engaging theater games, foundational acting techniques, improvisation activities, singing, and dancing. Students will have the chance to develop their creativity, build confidence, and improve teamwork while enjoying a supportive and encouraging environment.

YOUTH DRAMA CLUB

Does your child love to act but need an outlet to express their creativity? Our Youth Drama Club offers the perfect solution for grades 1-5! This program focuses on developing storytelling skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Through playful games and engaging exercises, students will develop the skills to work collaboratively as an ensemble. Over the 10 weeks, they’ll master character creation and learn how to captivate audiences, culminating in a special showcase for loved ones.

TEEN SCENE STUDY

Teen Scene Study is the ideal acting class for tweens and teens seeking to develop their acting skills and confidence in a fun, supportive environment. This program focuses on exploring scene work, helping students develop a deeper understanding of character, dialogue, and storytelling. Designed specifically for teens, the studio offers a collaborative space where participants can refine their craft while working alongside their peers. INTRO TO THEATRE (ADULT BEGINNER) - TERM A

Intro to Theater offers a weekly one-hour class designed for those intrigued by the performing arts, eager to enhance their acting skills, or seeking new social connections. Participants will delve into fundamental acting techniques, engage in improv games, acting exercises, and monologue work.

WINTER'S DESCENT - DECEMBER D&D CAMP

Welcome to our one-week Dungeons & Dragons Adventure Camp, where imagination and strategy merge to offer an amazing experience! This camp is crafted for tween and teen adventurers eager to explore the universe of fantasy role-playing. Participants will grasp the fundamentals of Dungeons & Dragons, receive a character they can modify, and take part in cooperative gameplay. Whether you're seasoned or just starting out with D&D, this camp promises a thrilling journey where you can meet new friends, improve storytelling skills, and explore various worlds. Each student will receive their own collection of D&D dice so they can keep their adventure alive after the camp. Join us for a memorable adventure that turns your wildest dreams into reality!
