Seeking Stories of "The Unexpected"!
Life is full of the unexpected — crazy, weird, dark, wonderful things that startle us, ask us to reconsider what’s possible, make us laugh, open our eyes, or even change the course of our lives. Royal River Community Players in Yarmouth is looking for such stories to be told at our April show, “Yarns, Truths & Tales: An Evening of Storytelling.”
If interested, please submit a brief, one paragraph story pitch with the subject line, “Unexpected” followed by your name to admin@royalrivercommunityplayers.com by Friday, 1/15. Those selected will be notified by Monday, 1/18. Writers would then be expected to submit a first draft of their story — 3 to 10 minute performance length — by Monday, 2/1. Writers will have the option to tell their own story or have an actor tell it for them.
We can't wait to hear your tales!
