
About the Camp
Join us for an exciting week-long theater camp where students will dive into the world of Robin Hood, through a spoof adaptation! This immersive experience offers young performers the chance to explore their creativity and hone their acting skills. Throughout the week, participants will engage in workshops, rehearsals, and activities that focus on character development, stage presence, stage combat, choreography and collaboration. Guided by experienced director, Laura Morris, students will work together to bring this classic tale to life in a final performance for family and friends. Whether you're a seasoned actor or new to the stage, this camp promises an unforgettable journey into the extraordinary world of Robin Hood.

Your Instructor

Laura Morris
After minoring in Theater at UMO, Laura acted professionally at the Dallas Theater Center, Indianapolis Rep and other venues before founding the Second Chance Foundation with the mission of helping youth make healthy decisions through theatrical school programs. She worked as a Theatrical Director with the Council for Drug Free Youth as well as founding the Master Acting Studio for Kids. After re-locating to Maine, she has taught theater and been involved in productions for Acorn Productions, Royal River Theater Company, Heartland Theatre, Crowbait Club and other venues. As the past Executive Director for the Be the Influence Coalition, she created and directed youth in theatrical programs that promote healthy decisions. Her favorite role is as mother to her amazing sons Ben and Josh!!!
