Overview:
We are seeking guest artists to teach 10-week theatre classes on Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday, 4:00 pm-4:50 pm from September 19 - December 5. The faculty is responsible for developing and delivering theater curriculum for their specific age group. Classes typically include opportunities to participate in theater games, create scenes, and culminate in a final showcase. We are open to receiving proposals for classes for any age group but are specifically interested in programming for kids between 6-12.
Key Responsibilities:
• Comprehensive knowledge of the material,
• Working to ensure a professional and harmonious program environment,
• Delivery of proper, thorough instruction to all attendees as appropriate to their role,
• Sensitivity to the target ages of audiences for a given program,
• Sensitivity to the many ages of performers that may attend a program (youth through adult),
• Immediate notice to RRCP of any problems or issues that might adversely impact the program or any attendees,
• Adherence to RRCP policies (Interaction with Minors), and,
• Open and cooperative communication with all personnel involved in the program.
About RRCP:
The mission of Royal River Community Players (RRCP) is to create multi-generational performing arts experiences that connect people in the communities in Greater Portland and the north. Our classes and theatrical productions offer opportunities for education, storytelling, collaboration, and creative expression for community members of all ages, from preschoolers to seniors.

Weekday (TBD) 4:00 pm - 4:50 pm – 10 weeks
Compensation:
$60 per class
